Beautiful failures (or lovely misfits) is an homage to coincidence and imperfection. To invite coincidence, we are open to surprises. When embracing imperfection we can experience a different kind of beauty, one that is free of rules and guidelines. It’s a continuing project, small in size and huge in numbers.

“To demand of yourself to be perfect, is like imprisoning yourself. I think it’s absolutely a shame that people waste so much time and energy because of their fear to fail. More often than not, the expired polaroids create small colourful abstract paintings. Sometimes showing a few hints of what might have been in front of the camera. Some of the deeper coloured polaroids part of Beautiful Failures.
